Porcelain Shower Panel FAQ:

Luxa Porcelain Shower Panels are ¼” thick, Jumbo format porcelain tiles that are HD printed with a through body color.

Luxa Porcelain Panels are available in 2 widths – 31.5” and 48”. All panels come 94.5” tall. Luxa utilizes these sizes to create both common and custom sized shower surrounds.

Luxa Porcelain Shower Panels can be trimmed to size onsite using diamond blade tile saws and blades.

Walls wider than 48" will require at least 2 panels for coverage.

Shower panels can be installed to any type of shower pan or tub that has a tile flange.

Shower panels can be installed as close to the ceiling as possible, up to the panel height of 94.5”. 

Butt joints from return walls to back walls of showers are sealed with silicone caulking as well as seams between panels and shower pans.

Accessories

For accessories (grab bars and shelves) we recommend accessories that screw in through the panels and into blocking at the framing. There are many online options available. Some recommended examples, include:

• Corner shelf with grab bar
• Grab Bar
• Glass Clamps to use with custom built shelves
• We do not recommend any shelving that requires the shelf to slide over a wall plate
